FCC showed pictures of the Samsung i770 a while back, now there are more informatio. The i770 operates on GSM 900/1800/1900 with EDGE data and has Bluetooth. It also appears to have WCDMA 2100.
From small pictures in the test documents, it appears that this phone features either a SureType keyboard or a butterfly keyboard. One half of the phone’s hinge is also rather large, but it is unclear whether this is a dual pivot hinge to use the phone in landscape mode or a large side-facing camera.
Instead of a smartphone, the flip phone is a Pocket PC phone with touch screen. According to the draft manual, it comes with EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi and bluetooth connection.
With the use of Microsoft Windows Mobile OS, you can install applications you need for different functions. The 2.0 megapixel camera is put on a roller to let you tune the camera direction. Samsung is not saying much about this phone, so there are not release date or pricing yet.
The phone is unique looking with the screen off-center and the half hinge. Cool features like touch screen would help out with the promotion of this phone.
